The short version
Ondesta does not collect your data. Everything you enter stays on your phone. There is no Ondesta account and no Ondesta server, and the app does not connect to your bank.
What the app does
- Everything you enter (accounts, balances, entries, schedules and people) is stored on your phone, in the app's own storage.
- The app makes no network requests, so it sends nothing anywhere.
- It has no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting.
- It asks for no permissions on your iPhone.
- Send feedback, in About, opens a draft email in your mail app addressed to support@ondesta.app, with the app version. Nothing is sent unless you send it.
Backups
- Your iPhone's own backups, such as iCloud Backup or a backup made on a computer, may include the app's data. Apple handles those backups, not Ondesta. You can manage which apps are included in your iPhone settings.
- You choose when to export a backup file. The file is passed to the iPhone share sheet, and you decide where it goes: Files, AirDrop, Mail or another app. Ondesta keeps no copy of it.
- A backup file is not encrypted. Anyone who opens it can read everything in it: your accounts, balances, entries, schedules and people. Keep it somewhere private.
Deleting the app
Deleting Ondesta removes its data from that phone. Backup files you saved elsewhere, and iPhone backups, are not removed.

If you write to me
If you email support@ondesta.app, I receive your email address and what you write. I use them only to reply, and I keep them only as long as I need them to reply and follow up. To have a message deleted, write to the same address.
Testing before release
Test versions are shared through Apple's TestFlight. Apple runs TestFlight, and may pass on crash reports and feedback that testers choose to send.
